Transformation Church scandal Easter sparked outrage on social media.

Pastor Mike Todd is facing a wave of criticism on social media following his highly extravagant Easter service titled “Ransom.”

Clips from the service, which quickly went viral online, have sparked outrage and intense backlash from viewers.

As the leading pastors of the Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma since February 2015, Mike and Natalie Todd have gained attention for their modern approach to preaching and worship.

However, this year’s Easter service pushed the boundaries and shocked many viewers.

The event featured performances by Kesha and Beyoncé, with stage lighting reminiscent of a glitzy Hollywood awards ceremony.

The dances presented during the service were even compared to Sam Smith’s controversial song “Unholy.”

In one performance, the lyrics of Beyoncé’s song “Diva” were altered in a drastic and controversial manner.

The modified lyrics included lines such as “The dragon was an angel turned into a hustla.”

In another segment, a performer mimicked Beyoncé’s iconic song “Formation,” singing, “Okay demons now let’s get in formation.”

Adding to the controversy, a singer donning the popular MSCHF Big Red Boots sang, “I been getting to the money, everybody mad.”

Additionally, a skit featured three performers discussing their derriere, with one saying, “Your little booty matter too, friend.” The service also included dancers performing to Kesha’s song “Die Young.”

The online response to Mike Todd’s Easter service was swift and overwhelmingly negative.

Users on Twitter and TikTok expressed their disbelief and disappointment, labeling the service as “blasphemous” and inappropriate for a church setting.

Transformation Church's Easter show was something else. From Kesha covers songs to women talking about their butts to some lady getting crucified, it's a mood.

Many questioned the lavishness and modernity of the concert-like event.

Interestingly, the entire Easter service was not uploaded to YouTube as anticipated by followers of Transformation Church.

Pastor Mike Todd addressed this by announcing on his official social media account that the service would be live-streamed for a single session before being deleted.

Some observers speculated that the reason for not publishing the video online may be due to potential copyright issues.

In contrast, others suggested that the church may have something to hide from the public.

According to his official website, Mike Todd aims to represent God to those who are lost and searching for transformation through Christ.

His mission is to make Christ the center of culture and impact the community, city, and world with a relevant and progressive presentation of the gospel.

Having gained significant attention through his viral sermon “Relationship Goals,” Mike Todd released a book with the same title.

A song by the same name has also been released online. He and his wife Natalie are proud parents to four children – Gia Joy Todd, Ava Rae, Michael Jr, and Isabella Monet.

The controversy surrounding Pastor Mike Todd’s Easter service continues to generate discussion and debate among both followers and critics alike.
