Personal Statement

Hi Coach. My name is Vinnie Fonti and I attend Stevens Point Area Senior High School where I am a junior. Currently, I have a 3.56 GPA where I take many rigorous courses such as AP US History, AP Government and Politics, Advanced Composition and Accelerated math courses throughout my high school years.

I feel that I am an outgoing and hard working in addition to being a student of the game of baseball. I do not feel any athlete can outwork me. In addition, I feel I am an outgoing person. I feel that I am very extroverted and I can communicate well with anyone. Some examples of my work ethic include waking up at 5am to workout and take batting practice before school where after school I would practice catching drills as well as working on my velocity through the Driveline throwing program.

I am looking for a school where I will get the opportunity to play in my years at the university or college. I would like to go somewhere that is not extraordinarily distant from home. I am fine going to a private or public university as well. 

I can offer a hard work ethic to your program as well as a great drive to improve each and every day. 

My goal is to play collegiately. I hope to find a good fit academically and athletically. I hope to hear from you and learn more about your program and university or college.
