What Was The Cause Of His Death?

According to some sources, Vincent van Gogh’s death has been labeled a suicide because he felt to have shot himself in the chest with a revolver.

Before one hundred and thirty years, Vincent Van Gogh became a mentally ill and depressed person after he faced continuous failure in his life, and his hard work on his artwork didn’t gain much popularity. 

He committed suicide at the age of 37.

Vincent Van Gogh decided to kill himself because he thought maybe he never achieved his big dreams and he will fail again and again in his traumatic life.  

Before his death, he wrote a letter to his brother Theo Van Gogh, mentioning, “I feel a failure.” 

After two days, Gogh was dying from his injuries in his bed in the small french town of Auvers-Sur-Oise.

According to some sources, his death has been labeled a suicide because he felt to have shot himself in the chest with a revolver.

In 1880, he wrote a letter to his brother,

“My Dear Theo, I am writing to you rather reluctantly because, for a good many reasons, I have kept silent for such a long time. To some extent, you have become a stranger to me, and I to you perhaps more than you think.”

According to the director of the Van Gogh Institute, he has discovered the exact location where the Dutch Post-Impressionist artist created his final painting, “Tree Roots.”

A Strong source revealed that Vincent van Gogh was a chronic alcoholic. Last year, the 38 years old artist’s family stated that he was diagnosed with stage II chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
