It is no surprise that Isiah Pacheco has quickly made an impact on the NFL. The rookie running back was drafted into one of the best teams in the league—the Kansas City Chiefs. This season he is playing his debut year in the NFL, and it looks like he’s here to stay.

Pacheco was born and raised in Vineland, New Jersey by loving parents Julio and Felicia Cannon, who worked hard to give their children every opportunity possible.

He developed his dynamic talent from a young age, amid a supportive family atmosphere that rewarded hard work.

It seems like all of those early commitments are now paying off as Pacheco hopes to make an even bigger mark on the NFL moving forward.

Despite being highly publicized due to tragedy, Isiah Pacheco’s life remains a mystery in some ways. The death of his sister Celeste came shockingly and without warning, making national headlines due to its senselessness.

His brother Travoise had an even more heartbreaking passing, perishing due to the result of a stabbing. Yet beyond the morbid details of their deaths, we know very little about Pacheco and his parents.

No social media accounts or digital footprints are available that might help fill in the blanks and give insight into this family’s past before it was touched by awful events.

Whatever secrets his family may hold, they seem content to keep them within their inner circle – making them one more part of Pacheco’s story that will likely remain forever unknown.

Isiah’s career trajectory

Pacheco had an impressive collegiate career, as he was able to record over 2000 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns during his time at Rutgers University. Also, he was a capable target in the passing game with 47 receptions for 249 yards and a touchdown.

The Kansas City Chiefs saw potential in him, drafting him as the 251st overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and have not been disappointed so far with his progress.

Despite limited playing time and opportunities, Pacheco has managed to record 192 rushing yards from 39 attempts and score a single touchdown while amassing a starting role ahead of Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

It is clear that Pacheco is a valuable asset to the Chiefs, proving why they selected him in the first round of the draft.

As his career progresses with more time on the gridiron, we may certainly see some impressive performances from the rookie in seasons to come; large things are expected of Pacheco for years ahead.
