The Great British Bake Off returns to Channel 4 for its 2021 season on Tuesday the 21st of September. With 12 new bakers competing to win the annual competition, Giuseppe is one of the contestants ready to show off his skills.
With 10 weeks and multiple challenges to face along the way, the bakers will have to test their talents with many types of baking including cakes, biscuits and other sweet treats.
Whilst all the bakers will be doing their part to become the 2021 GBBO champion, let’s meet contestant Giuseppe as Reality Titbit looks into his ethnicity and family life.

Who is Giuseppe on Bake Off?
Currently residing in Bristol, Giuseppe Dell’Anno is 45-years-old and working as a chief engineer, also with a passion for architecture and gardening.
Married with three young sons, Giuseppe is a family man, sharing photos of his children with the comment, “life doesn’t get sweeter than this”.
Giuseppe also bakes with his children, sharing a photo to his Instagram account of a shortbread crostata that his sons had helped him to create.

Where is Giuseppe from?
Italian born, Giuseppe often uses his heritage to enhance his cooking.
Using traditional Italian flavours, Giuseppe will be bringing something different to the Bake Off tent with his authentic recipes.
Where does Giuseppe get his inspiration for baking from?
As well as past competitors and winners of The Great British Bake Off inspiring him to take part in the show, Giuseppe’s father has also been a big motivator.
Growing up in Italy with a professional chef as his father, Giuseppe was always surrounded by food and cooking. His father also baked his family a fresh cake each Sunday, where Giuseppe found his passion for baking.
Over lockdown, Giuseppe used his spare time to perfect his skills in the kitchen and continue to bake more often.
