Who Is Sydney Esiason Martin, Matt Martin Wife? Meet Ice Hockey Winger's Wife

Sydney is a sports broadcaster and Matt is an ice hockey player one would guess they met through sports but that's not what happened with this pair.

Syndey claimed that the pair met on Twitter in 2012! The pair has come very far along since they first knew each other.

Sydney met one of Matt’s teammates at a concert while she was a student at Boston College who later told Matt about her and the pair got connected through Twitter and started chatting.

They had lost touch briefly but again reconnected after Hurricane Sandy hit the East coast when Matt reached out to seek how Sydney and her family were doing and that's how it all began.

Further, in their relationship, Sydney even moved to Toronto, Canada for Matt to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2016 and said they fell in love with the distillery district there.

The couple even got engaged in the distillery district's most famous illustration, a massive LOVE sign covered in locks.

Sydney's mom was also present when matt went down on one knee. They created sweet memorabilia by adding their lock to the sign. "We wrote 'March 18, 2019' with our initials," she says.

And, On June 29, 2019, The couple tied the knot in a chic coastal wedding in Southampton, New York in presence of friends and family.

Matt and Sydney welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Windsor Grace Martin, on July 14th, 2020. They have a pet dog, a Rottweiler, named Jax.

They usually share pictures of their daughter across socials and their dog Jax also makes his appearance.

Their family is soon expanding as the couple is ready to welcome another baby girl this fall meaning anytime now.
