Narcos is back as of November 16th!

The long-awaited nail-biting series is here and this time the show is set in Mexico.

At the centre of all the blood-shed, crime and business deals is the “boss of bosses”, Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo.

We’ve met all of the new drug kingpins but, who is the Narcos Mexico narrator?

What is Narcos Season 4 About?

Whereas the first three Narcos series began following the Medellin and Cali cartels, season 4 discovers the birth of Mexico’s drug war.

Narcos Mexico kicks off in 1980 and mainly follows DEA agent Kiki Camarena in his bid to hunt down Mexico’s drug kingpins.

Still, the narcos are united by greed, driven by revenge and addicted to power – no change there.

Who is the Narcos Mexico Narrator?

When you get to about half-way through the new Narcos season 4 it may dawn on you that the narration isn’t being done by those who have done it before.

Agent Steve Murphy narrated the construction of the Medellin cartel as well as Agent Javier Peña, however, this time around it isn’t actually anyone you’ve ever seen on the show seen before.

Narcos Mexico is narrated by Scoot McNairy.

And when you get to the end of Narcos Mexico all will become clear that our new narrator is a key character in the next season to come!
