Triple H and Stephanie McMahon opened the show, promising all of the night's matches would be interference free.
As The Real Americans made their entrance, Zeb Colter went on his usual rant, this time aimed at the fans in Boston, Mass. He told them they shouldn't cheer for a foreign guy like David Ortiz.
Cody Rhodes and Dean Ambrose began the match for their respective teams.
Rhodes got a few solid punches in, but soon found himself lying in a corner getting kicked in the chest. The referee pulled Ambrose out and berated him. Busy arguing with the official, Ambrose didn't see Rhodes sneak up behind him and use a schoolboy pin to eliminate him.
The Real Americans worked seamlessly together to double-team Goldust, knocking the air out of him with a Swagger bomb and slamming him to the mat.
Goldust escaped long enough to tag Rey Mysterio. The highflier sped around the ring, quickly getting Jack Swagger in position for the 619. The Usos followed that move with a superkick and splash combo that gave the fan favorites a five-to-two advantage.
Antonio Cesaro whipped both the Uso brothers around with the Cesaro Swing.
Rhodes and Cesaro battled briefly before Rhodes rolled Cesaro up, eliminating the Swiss strongman. The heels were only down to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, forced to face the entire babyface squad by themselves.
Reigns speared Jimmy Uso and Rhodes, eliminating both men. Rollins smashed Jey's face into the mat, taking him out.
That evened the odds, with only Mysterio and Goldust left against the former tag team champs. Reigns and Rollins then seemed to delight in destroying Mysterio. Reigns flung him out of the ring; Rollins tied him upside down in the corner.
Mysterio later reversed an electric chair drop, rolling Rollins up for the three-count.
Reigns punished Mysterio some more before the masked underdog made the tag to Goldust. Goldust played to the crowd as he powerslammed and clotheslined Reigns. The last member of The Shield was too powerful, though.
He speared Goldust to take him out and then did the same to Mysterio, making Reigns the sole survivor.
The Shield and The Real Americans win.
